Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is the governing body of the University with the power to control UW's property and revenues, and the conduct of its business and affairs. Planning and implementation of the physical and operational development of the University, establishment and enforcement of rules and regulations with respect to University property, and designation of University funds are included under the jurisdiction of the Board of Governors.
The membership of the Board of Governors consists of representatives from the University faculty, staff and student bodies, and the community-at-large, as well as appointees from the Lieutenant-Governor-in-Council, and a number of ex officio members.
