The Federation of Students elects representatives to Students’ Council each winter term for positions beginning the following spring. Beginning the fist day of the spring term, Council positions run for one year.

Coincident with the elections for Students’ Council are the elections for the four Executive Positions (President & three Vice-Presidents).

The Board of Directors, responsible for the overall management of the Federation of Students is comprised of the executive team and five members of Students Council. Non-executive Board members are elected by students in attendance of the March General Meeting of the Federation of Students. Scheduling for this event is published in the Imprint.

By-elections are run from time to time as needed.

The Federation of Students generally does not run elections for Faculty Societies.
